Studio Policies
Updated: May 23, 2026
These policies help us keep classes fair, consistent, and enjoyable for everyone.
Booking and Credits
- A class credit is required to reserve a spot in class.
- Membership credits roll over while your membership remains active. If your membership is canceled, any unused membership credits may no longer be available unless otherwise stated in writing.
Membership Auto-Renewal, Pausing, and Cancellation
- Monthly memberships automatically renew every 30 rolling days.
- To pause or cancel a monthly membership, members must contact nicole@easternshorecore.com before the next payment has processed.
- Membership cancellation requests must be submitted before the renewal payment date. Once a monthly membership payment has processed, refunds will not be issued.
- Memberships, class packs, credits, and special offers are non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing.
Founders’ Memberships
- Our original memberships are recognized as Founders’ Memberships. These memberships were created for the members who helped support Eastern Shore Core in its earliest season, and they include special benefits that are no longer available with current memberships.
- If your Founders’ Membership includes unlimited mat access, you will continue to keep that benefit for as long as your membership remains active.
- Once a Founders’ Membership is canceled, it cannot be reactivated. If you return after canceling, you’ll be welcome to purchase a current membership or class package at the rates and terms available at that time.
- Founders’ Memberships and their included benefits are non-transferable and remain available only to the original member while the membership stays active. Once a Founders’ Membership is canceled, the original rate and included benefits are permanently retired and cannot be reinstated.
Late Cancellation + No-Show Policy
- Classes canceled within 12 hours or private sessions canceled within 2 hours of the scheduled start time will incur a $15 late cancellation fee. Each member receives one grace pass every 30 days to account for emergencies or illness. After that grace pass has been used, the $15 fee will apply.
- If you do not attend your scheduled class and do not cancel in advance, it will be considered a no-show. In that case, your class credit will be forfeited and you will also be charged a $15 no-show fee.
- These policies help ensure that spots do not remain unavailable until the last minute, giving other members a fair chance to book class.
Waitlists
- If a class is full, clients may join the waitlist.
- When a spot becomes available, you will receive both a text and email notification. Please note that the link in these notifications will direct you to the website to complete your booking, so you may need to log in through your mobile browser if you typically use the app.
- If you attempt to claim a waitlist spot and are unable to complete the booking, it means another member has already secured that opening.
Booking a Guest
- When booking a guest, you must provide the guest’s correct name, email address, and phone number at the time of booking.
- We strongly recommend giving your guest everything they need to create and manage their own account before class. This allows them to receive important class updates, manage their reservation, and add their own payment method.
- If your guest late cancels or no-shows and does not have a payment method on file, the account that made the reservation will be responsible for any applicable late cancellation or no-show fees.
Late Arrival
For safety and to respect the class experience, late entry may be limited at the instructor’s discretion.
Age Policy
Clients must be 16 years or older to attend classes unless otherwise approved in writing by Eastern Shore Core.
Illness Policy
For the health and comfort of our community, please do not attend class if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness.
Grip Socks and Dress Code
For safety, comfort, and proper movement:
- Grip socks are required for Reformer Pilates classes.
- Please wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows safe movement and a full range of motion.
- For safety on the reformer or any apparatus, clothing should be form-fitting (not loose or baggy).
- Long hair should be tied back.
- Please do not wear necklaces or bracelets during apparatus-based classes.
Studio Etiquette
To support a focused class environment:
- Please arrive on time.
- Please silence your phone during class.
Community Standards
Eastern Shore Core is a welcoming space for all. Discrimination, harassment, or hate speech of any kind is not tolerated.
Photography and Social Media
Eastern Shore Core may occasionally take photos or short video clips during class for marketing and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please notify us in writing or speak with the instructor before class begins.
Teacher Substitutions
- Our instructors may occasionally need coverage due to illness, emergencies, travel, or scheduling conflicts.
- If an instructor changes, the class will still run as scheduled, and regular cancellation policies will remain in place.
Weather Closures
- In the event of inclement weather or unexpected closures, schedule updates will be communicated via email and/or text and reflected in our online booking schedule.
- If the studio remains open but you do not feel safe traveling due to weather or road conditions, please use your grace pass if available or contact us as soon as possible. Specific circumstances may be reviewed individually, but regular cancellation policies remain in place unless the studio cancels class.
Personal Belongings
- Please keep personal items secured and stored neatly in the provided cubbies. Each cubby has a number and a corresponding numbered tag. Choose a cubby with the tag still on the handle, as this means the cubby is available.
- Please keep the tag with you during class and return it to the cubby before you leave. Do not leave the studio with the tag.
- For the safety and security of our studio community, Eastern Shore Core uses security cameras in common areas. Eastern Shore Core is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Refunds
- Purchases are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
- If you believe an error occurred, please contact nicole@easternshorecore.com as soon as possible.
Policy Updates
We may update these policies from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website and/or booking page and may also be communicated via email and/or text.
