Where is Eastern Shore Core located?
We’re at 2324 W Zion Rd, in the blue and bronze Professional Center across Route 13 from the Centre at Salisbury (formerly Meta Yoga’s location).
Is there parking?
Yes! Parking is available right outside the studio, making it easy and convenient to get to class.
Do I need to bring my own mat or props?
For reformer classes, everything is provided. For mat classes, you’re welcome to bring your own mat, but we also provide Jade Yoga Harmony mats, which are very grippy and perfect for hot classes, along with a full set of high-quality props.
Do I need to arrive early to class?
You’re welcome to arrive a few minutes early to settle in. If another class is in session, you can relax in our lounge and boutique area, where you’ll find cubbies for your belongings, two restrooms, a water-filling station, drinks for purchase, and a curated boutique with studio essentials.
How many people are in a class?
Reformer classes are capped at 10 students, and Hot Mat Pilates classes at 15, so you’ll always get personal attention in a small-group setting.

HEALTH + SAFETY
I'm new to Pilates. What class can I take?
All of our classes can be beginner-friendly! Our guidance and cueing are clear, with personalized attention available to every student. Adjustments and corrections are often subtle, helping you learn to move well within your own body. If you’d like a slower introduction, our Relaxed Reformer class moves at a gentler pace with slower transitions and a quieter environment. You may also consider starting with a Private Session for one-on-one support.
Are classes safe during pregnancy or injury recovery?
Yes—with modifications. Please let your instructor know before class so we can support you safely. For individualized needs, a private session is often the best place to start. For hot mat classes, exercising in heat with certain conditions may not be recommended. Always consult your physician before beginning any new exercise program.
Do I need special clothes or shoes?
Grip socks are required on reformers for safety. On the reformer, please tie long hair back and avoid loose clothing. For mat classes, bare feet are fine. Comfortable, stretchy clothes are best. We have grip socks available for purchase, or you may borrow from our clean “borrow socks” basket if needed.
How do you keep the studio clean?
We take cleanliness seriously so you can focus on your practice. Every reformer comes with a glass spray bottle of our all-natural Koala Eco cleaning solution, made from peppermint and mandarin essential oils. Reformers, props, and mats are sanitized after every class, and the studio undergoes regular deep cleaning to maintain a fresh and inviting space.
Do you have showers?
We do not have showers in the studio. However, we provide two gender-neutral single bathrooms with locks, hooks for clothing, and a variety of amenities to freshen up after class. You’ll find washcloths, single-use face washcloths, sponges, Q-tips, dry shampoo, ceramic hair dryers with multiple attachments, body wash, body spray, wipes, and other personal hygiene products to help you feel refreshed before heading out.
What's the difference between infrared heat and a heated room?
Our Hot Mat Pilates classes use infrared heating panels, which gently warm the body from the inside out — similar to the warmth of the sun, without UV rays. This creates a more comfortable, penetrating heat that helps muscles relax and increases circulation. A traditionally “heated room” warms the air, which can sometimes feel stuffy or overwhelming. Infrared heat feels cleaner and more natural, allowing you to focus on your breath and movement without the heavy air of a conventional hot room.
